Maria and Steven’s iconic Pittsburgh wedding took place at the stately Grand Concourse in Station Square. We just had to take advantage of the proximity to the Smithfield Street Bridge and that beautiful view! Ryan even took at trip with the groom on the Duquesne Incline before the ceremony.
Amanda and Jon chose to have an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family at the beautiful Bar Marco in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. The light-filled event space on the top floor of the historic fire station provided the perfect setting for the ceremony, cocktail, and amazing dinner.
Emilie and Ethan’s wedding at Succop Nature Preserve was the epitome of romance and style.
Kristen and Dehann are both biologists, so it makes sense that they would want their wedding to be in nature! They had their gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Seven Springs Resort, and as luck would have it, the rain held off and the sun came out. The bride’s floral arrangement is an homage to Dehann’s home of South Africa, containing an assortment of native flowers.
Sarah and Greg had their wedding at the hidden gem George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA. We had a wonderful time capturing the sophistication and charm of the old building, which served as a gorgeous location for Sarah and Greg’s romantic and fun-filled day! The happy couple made the day all their own while paying tribute to Sarah’s Irish family traditions.
Jordan and Jon had a private and intimate wedding at West Overton Village in Scottsdale, PA. The 19th Century farm and rye distillery provided and gorgeous rustic backdrop for their day.
As Pitt graduates, Carol and Pat had their hearts set on an Oakland wedding, with a beautiful ceremony at Heinz Chapel and reception at Phipps Conservatory. We made sure we worked in the iconic landmarks, like the Mellon Institute and the whimsical carousel on Schenley Plaza.
Melanie and Dave flew all the way from Portland, Oregon to have their Jazz Age themed wedding at the Gilded Age estate of Henry Clay Frick in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood. Every detail they chose perfectly complimented their gorgeous venue, and we had a blast capturing all of the special elements that made their day unique!
We traveled to Adam’s family farm for this sweet engagement session. Adam drove us to his and Bri’s favorite spots in his ATV, which made for a fun and varied shoot with lots of gorgeous scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to spend with these two!
When we met Holly and Andrew and they told us about the 19th Century Ohio home they’re renovating, we immediately knew we wanted to do their engagement session there! There’s no better way to celebrate the new beginning of their marriage than to capture them in the home they’re making for their future family. And come on, how cute are those chickens?
