I met Nicole and Brian the comedy improv community, where they both are accomplished and hilarious performers. Brian has coached improv and briefly worked with me and my good friend Alex Kraemer on our two-prov, Chicken Fried Tofu.

Their original plan was to hold a beautiful wedding at the Pittsburgh Opera in The Strip District, but the pandemic forced Nicole and Brian to scuttle their plans. They later decided to get married in a brief and tiny ceremony in the park. As they planned to hold a reception for their families to attend, they found out they were pregnant, so the wedding reception once again adapted to become a baby shower.

While we know Nicole and Brian wanted a big wedding, we were still so happy to see them share the love and excitement for their new arrival with their closest family. It was a sincere honor for us to be there for them through this incredibly challenging year and half, and we couldn’t be happier for them and their new family. Mazel tov!
